The Calgary Stampede is one of the biggest rodeo shows on earth, exhibition and festival held every July in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The 10 day event, which statements itself as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth “attracts over millions of visitors on US tour package from India every year and features and counted in one of the world's largest rodeos, a parade, midway, stage shows, musical concerts, agricultural competitions. The most famous of all is chuck wagon racing which people enjoy throughout the event and also the first nation exhibition.
Stampede Parade
The 10 days feast kicks off with a parade through the boulevard of downtown Calgary. Stampede Parade takes place in the morning starts from July 5. People check out the website to find out about the parade route, seating along the route, and other possible information about the parade. On parade day, much downtown Calgary is closed for vehicles from 7:30 a.m. until around 1:00 pm, with the exception for some route.

During the Stampede, Calgary gets an intense denim makeover. Business suits are out for few days and blue jeans, belt buckles get huge, and neckties go on Vacation for few days. Even royalty embrace cowboy hats, boots and jeans. Casuals comes in days are full relaxing. If you wish to go full cowboy style during US tour packages it’s allowed. Stampede Park gets a new look and the whole city celebrates the joy.
